Where nature and relaxation meet, on the crossroads between the Sea of Galilee and the Golan – here you’ll find the Amiad rural resort.
Amiad Kibbutz is located at the heart of the Upper Galilee, with 27 relaxing and beautiful rooms that cater to your every need. Amiad is suitable for groups, families and couples, with complete accessibility for the disabled. You are welcome to stroll over the green lawns stretching all around the compound or take an evening walk along our lighted paths, and much more. The resort also offers free Wi-Fi connection throughout the compound.
As a resort destination, Amiad is located on the crossroads between the nearby tourist venues and those farther to the north. The kibbutz is a great starting point for tours, which makes this location a favorable one for cycling, hiking and jeep tours, with its great combination of comfortable sleeping arrangements and access to dozens of different tours and paths. If you love traveling with your pets, you can bring them with you – please coordinate the arrangements in advance.
The Yoffee Coffee restaurant and coffee shop offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will be able to choose from a lavish and varied menu, whether you are staying at the resort or stopping for a break along the way. Yoffee Coffee is also suitable for small family or business events with up to 120 participants.
Kibbutz Amiad is located in Ramat Korazin, on the northern coast of the Sea of Galilee. The Upper Galilee is one of the most beautiful areas in Israel, a meeting point of the Hula Valley and the coasts of the Sea of Galilee.
The kibbutz was founded in 1946 by core members of the Palmach, who were placed in this location to protect the road leading from the Upper Galilee to Tiberias. The original name of the kibbutz was “HaChoshlim”, after these founders, and was later changed to Amiad. The original location of the kibbutz was slightly south of where it is currently located. It combines agriculture, tourism and industry, and in addition to the resort’s rural beauty the kibbutz is well known for Amiad Corp.’s water filtration systems factory, which exports to the entire world and is even traded on the London stock exchange.
Amiad Kibbutz is surrounded by beautiful tour paths, suitable for walking, bicycle riding and all-terrain vehicles. You are always welcome to take a beautiful tour, summer or winter, as this is the reason Amiad is considered as a favorable starting point for tours in the north.
Amiad Junction is located by the kibbutz and is considered one of the main junctions in the Galilee. The kibbutz is located north of Amiad Junction and Golani Junction. Amiad Junction is a major crossroad for many vehicles traveling to the Galilee Panhandle, Kiryat Shmona, Safed, the Golan Heights, Hermon Mt., Carmiel, Haifa, Acre, Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee. This makes Amiad Kibbutz a central meeting point between the Galilee, the Sea of Galilee, the Hula Valley and the Golan.
This location of Amiad Kibbutz enables the resort’s guests to enjoy the proximity to the many shopping centers in Rosh Pina, Carmial and Hatzor HaGlilit, as well as to a wide range of attractions throughout the region.
